History
Servicing your Material Handling Equipment is our number one priority! Lift, Inc. began working in the material handling business in 1973 servicing all brands of forklift trucks. Over 30 years later, we have more than 110 service technicians, trained and dedicated to provide the highest level of customer service.
1973
Lift Inc. was founded in Reading, PA as an independent forklift parts distributor.
1976
TCM forklift line was added.
1987
Crown Lift Truck product line was added.
1988
Corporate headquarters was moved to Lancaster. Bernville’s facility remained a full service branch. The Allied Products Division was added through the asset acquisition of Lift-N-Roll.
1991
Toyota Lift Truck product line was added through the acquisition of Pennlift of York, Pa.
1994
The Mechanicsburg branch was opened to serve the Harrisburg market.
1996
The Mechanicsburg branch was expanded to include a new shop and training center. Lift Inc. was presented the Toyota President’s Award (Toyota’s highest honor).
1998
Lift Inc established an Aerial Division operated out of the Mechanicsburg branch. The new Manheim facility was opened to handle growth of the Aerial Division and Used Equipment Division.
2002
Lift Inc. earned both the Toyota President’s Award and the Crown Summit Award (both manufactures’ highest honor).
2003
Lift Inc. was presented the Toyota President’s Award.
2004
Lift Inc. was awarded the Toyota Silver Circle Award (Toyota's second highest honor).
2005
A new 10,000 sq./ft. Williamsport Branch was built to serve clients in our northern counties. An 8,000 sq./ft. addition was added to the Bernville branch. Lift Inc. was honored with the Crown Summit Award and the Toyota President’s Award.
2006
A new 10,000 sq./ft. storage warehouse was added to the Manheim facility. The company was recognized with the Crown Summit Award.
2007
Lift Inc. was awarded the Toyota Silver Circle Award.
2008
Lift Inc. moved to a new 93,000 sq./ft. headquarters location in Mountville, PA. Lift Inc. was also awarded the Wayne Dalton Door product line to offer a more complete dock products package to our clients. Lift Inc. also earned the Toyota President’s Award.
2009
Lift Inc. added the full Bobcat product line with the acquisition of Bobcat of Lancaster (located in Ephrata, PA).
