OSHA Regulation 29 CFR 1910.178(1) Operator Training.

(l)(1)(i) Requires: The employer shall ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (1).

Operator Performance Test

  • Pick-up and placements of pallets
  • Operator course
  • Simulated rail car / trailor loading and unloading
  • Simulated narrow aisle operation
  • performance testing (compatible with your application)

Lift, Inc. will customize training classes to meet your needs for specific types of equipment being used. We will schedule our training classes around your work schedule to include training for any shift or operational conditions you may have. You may also purchase operator training materials including videos, instructor manuals, operator manuals, testing materials, and completion certificates. Lift's Train the Trainer course enables attendees to return to their plants with all the necessary information needed to design and teach forklift truck operator safety courses in their facilities.

Aerial Training.

ANSI/SIA A92.3, A92.5, A92.6, concerning Operator Training - All state that whenever an owner directs or authorizes an employee to operate an aerial platform (loading, unloading, inspecting or any form of use) the owner shall ensure the person has been:

  1. Trained.
  2. Familiarize with the aerial platform to be operated.
  3. Made aware of the responsibilities of operators as outlined in Section 8 of this standard.

Lift, Inc. offers an AERIAL TRAINING program to aid in achieving compliance with these standards.
Our program consists of the following:

Classroom
