Team Spotlight: Daryl Miller – Truck Driver at Lift Inc.

Today we spotlight one of our awesome truck drivers, and recent member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation convoy, Daryl Miller. Make-A-Wish is close to Daryl’s heart, as he just recently participated in the annual Mother’s Day Make-a-Wish Drive where he raised $10,441.14! Daryl has participated in this event for over 20 years and has always come up in the top three in fundraising for the event. We’ve asked Daryl a few questions so you can learn a little more about him and the people who make up the team here at Lift Incorporated.

Make-A-Wish convoyHow long have you been with Lift and what are your responsibilities as an employee?

I have been with the company for 6 1/2 years as a truck driver delivering and picking up all types of equipment, as well as Allied racking materials.

What made you interested in joining Lift’s team, and how did you hear of us?

I was interested after talking with Jay Oberholtzer, who I had worked with previously at Sparkletts & Crystal Springs Water Co.

What are some activities you enjoy doing outside of work?

Going out to eat with a group of friends I used to bowl with, and anything related to the beach, including boating and fishing.

What are your favorite dinner foods?

A good steak, shepherds pie, and chicken parmigiana, followed by chocolate cake with peanut butter icing my wife makes.

If you could wake up tomorrow in the body of someone else, who would you pick and what would you do for that day?

I probably would be someone rich like Bill Gates so I could grant a lot of wishes for Make-A-Wish, as well as feed a lot of starving people.Daryl Miller
