We have an exciting opportunity for a Billing Specialist to work out of our Mountville location. The Billing Specialist will process work orders, upload to the online provider as necessary, and create the invoices to customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Accuracy in entering information on to a variety of billing platforms ensuring work orders are per customer guidelines.
Enter invoice information accurately and thoroughly on third party web sites to process billing.
Willingness to work with multiple departments to confirm accuracy.
Close work orders on internal business system once third party approves invoice.
Perform credits on invoices and rebill, as necessary.
All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous administrative office experience.
Proficient with Microsoft products including Word and Excel.
Ability to write emails and business correspondence.
Aptitude for working with numbers, detail- orientated.
Ability to prioritize work needs and follow through with minimal direction.
Two (2) years of billing experience and applicable terminology.
Two (2) years Customer service experience.
