Lift, Inc. is the leader in the Material Handling Industry in East Central Pennsylvania. We represent Crown and Toyota Lift Trucks, which are the top two brands in North America. Our company has been providing new and used equipment sales, service, rental and parts since 1973. Lift, Inc. has six locations, including four full service lift truck facilities as well as Bobcat/Kubota divisions.
Business Development Representative
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Representative in the Leesport, PA area.
We are seeking a candidate who is looking to get started in a sales career and has a 4-year college degree. Candidates should be excited to develop new customer relationships, seek competitive business, and work with an established sales team to sell Lift, Inc. equipment and services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Door-to-door business calling on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative product information and quoting appropriate customer prices
Creating awareness and demand for the company products and services
Identifying potential opportunities and effectively communicating benefits and opportunities available to meet needs and interests
Maintaining communications with internal employees to ensure efforts are in line with objectives
Identifying prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing customers, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences
Maintaining all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations
Monitoring market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales
Negotiating details of contracts and payments
Consulting with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
Performing other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of various relationship sales techniques
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships
Flexible, creative, and able to work in a non-structured developing work environment
Demonstrated capacity to think “outside the box”, communicate and motivate customers on Lift, Inc. products, programs and new ideas
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Excellent oral/written communication skills, including well-developed presentation skills
Excellent customer relationship skills
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Sales and Marketing degree required

Target Income: $42,000-$55,000
