Parts Support Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Support Specialist located at our Leesport branch. This role is primarily responsible for processing and fulfilling orders for both internal service staff, and external customers. While also maintaining a very high level of customer service. Previous experience working in a parts department or the material handling industry is a plus, but we will train the right individual.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for communicating to customers and internal staff, in person, on the phone, or via email for various parts assistance requests.

  • Responsible for fulfilling customers and internal staff orders in a timely manner in person, on the phone, or via email.

  • Occasionally deliver parts to customers and internal staff in Schuylkill, Lebanon, and Berks counties

  • Work with internal team and external vendors on obtaining inventory to fulfill customer orders.

  • Occasionally pull & ship customer orders from within our stock room.

  • Assist stockroom personnel when needed.

  • Sometimes load and unload freight deliveries.

  • Responsible for data entry and data management for customer inquiries and orders

  • Communicate with other branches as required.

  • All other duties required by management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be over the age of 18.

  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent attention to detail.

  • PA driver’s license and a clean driving record

  • High school diploma or Technical Degree in automotive field or equivalent field

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience with Microsoft Office and computer

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role

  • Positive and friendly attitude toward customers and fellow team members

  • Must be able to follow directions both written and verbal.

  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

  • Great organizational, time management, customer service and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team on a variety of job tasks.

  • The ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:

  • Physical requirements include sitting most of time as well as walking.

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, and occasionally lift over 75 pounds.

  • Occasionally press customers tires

  • Operate material handling equipment as required.
