Service Advisor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Advisor to work out of our Aerial department. The Aerial Service Advisor is responsible for analyzing branch level service department activities, creating a plan, and implementing steps to make departmental improvements in efficiency and profitability. This position will also track and manage the branch fleet vehicles, initiating ways to make improvements, implementing cost savings initiatives, and scheduling fleet maintenance and repairs.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Work in multiple in-house and third-party computer systems (Crown, JLG, Genie, ERP system) to gather, process, and edit information, monitoring productivity and closing work orders.

  • Audit labor reports to ensure accuracy (OT, customer billing, Work in Progress (WIP) etc.).

  • Monitor the fleet maintenance schedule and initiate appropriate service.

  • Work with the Parts department to ensure supplies are available for additions to the fleet.

  • Create and maintain a system to track company supplied tools, PPE, uniforms, and equipment provided for the Service department.

  • Track response times for service calls and emails.

  • Analyze Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports and summarize for management team.

  • Analyze compiled data and create actionable steps to increase departmental efficiency and profitability.

  • Assist Management team as needed on miscellaneous tasks and projects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook etc.)

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work within deadlines in fast paced environment.

  • Ability to compile, analyze, implement, and see a project through to completion

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of experience in equipment handling or automotive industry.

  • One (1) year report writing and presentation.
