Electro-Mechanical Technician II:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician II at on site customer location. The Electro-Mechanical Technician II will utilize advanced skills to perform installation, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair of all automation system equipment, primarily Automation Conveyance and ASRS Systems as an onsite dedicated technician.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Maintains and troubleshoots all conveyor / automation systems (Belted and Roller Conveyor, MDR Conveyors, ASRS, Sorters , Palletizing, GTP Systems, etc.), electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical
Maintains and troubleshoots motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, encoders, etc.
Troubleshoots basic to advanced electrical and mechanical problems related to all material handling equipment components. Performs preventive/predictive maintenance of conveyance/automation equipment using the appropriate job plans, procedures, and manuals. Modifies and fabricates parts as needed using basic machine shop tool
Creates and closes Work Orders to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used into asset management system Assists with electronics/Programmable Logic Controls troubleshooting
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
Previous work experience in preventive/predictive maintenance & troubleshooting skills and repair methods.
Previous experience or coursework in Mechanical and/or Electrical components, compressors, hydraulics, and pneumatics
2-3 years previous experience working in a distribution center, manufacturing or production environment
Must be over the age of 18.
High school diploma / GED
Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Advanced computer skills
Available for OT as needed
Preferred
Certification in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently.
Solid organizational, time management and customer service skills
Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.
High level of professionalism and the ability to follow up.
Positive and friendly attitude toward customers and fellow team members
